Abstract:
Abstract The uniform pseudo-random number generators proposed by Tausworthe are investigated with respect to their behavior under statistical tests. The emphasis is on multivariate tests checking statistical independence properties, and effective theoretical results lead to selection criteria for good parameters in the generation process.
