Abstract: Abstract In Chapter II we developed, from various theories and empirical studies of performance, a substantial list of potential factors that might cause superior financial performance. We demonstrated that the mix of environmental, strategic and organizational dimensions that researchers believe might impact financial performance has evolved from several rather disparate fields of study.
