Abstract: Abstract This paper attempts to assess the Greek Co-operative shares in the agricultural markets and estimate the trend in shares over the period 1971–88 and to assess the effects of the Greek admittance to the EC. Regression was applied on time series data to investigate the observed tendencies in both aggregate and individual agricultural product market shares. The effects of the Greek membership on to the Community on the co-operative shares were also examined. Regression analysis model applied to produce models reflecting the existing tendencies in market shares and the EC impact on co-operative market shares in the after 1981 period.
