Abstract In this chapter, we will discuss the importance of effectively managing enterprise IS/IT operation/function, present some popular frameworks of enterprise IS/IT operation management, discuss outsourcing options, emphasize the challenge and issues associated with outsourcing information systems, highlight the importance of effectively managing global information systems operation, and look at some popular approaches of managing global information systems operation.
