Chapter 2 in Statistical Methods in Medical Research, 2018, pp 13-16 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Statistical analysis provides us deep insight into the relevance of a study, but the entire analysis could be based on systematically collected data with prior planning. There are many factors which need to be decided beforehand. Study is planned with a focus on including or excluding criterion for cases or subjects. Method of collecting data such as enumeration method, questionnaire method, or registration method is decided. This chapter would provide basic knowledge about various essentialities and schedules for collecting data for statistical analysis.
