Chapter Chapter 6 in Nonlinear Differential Equations in Physics, 2020, pp 199-229 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In the recent years, the investigation of finding new exact solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations (NLPDEs) plays an important role in the study of nonlinear physical phenomena such as fluid mechanics, plasma physics, statistical physics, quantum physics, solid state physics, optics, and so on (Debnath in nonlinear partial differential equations for scientists and engineers. Birkhäuser, Boston, 2005 [1]; Wazwaz in partial differential equations and solitary waves theory. Springer-Verlag, Berlin, Heidelberg [2]). NLPDEs are widely used to describe complex physical phenomena arising in the various fields of science and engineering.
