Abstract:
Abstract The problem of housing is the primary problem facing migrant workers in the inflow area. The difference between urban and rural household registration will make the difficulty of purchasing a house showing obvious differences. The article extends the research field of household registration discrimination from the human capital market to the housing market. By Using the data derived from the “national mobile population monitoring survey in 2016”, this article mainly use nonlinear logistic regression model to analyze how registration discrimination influencing migrant workers’ willingness to purchase a house and the real purchasing power. The conclusion of this paper is benefit to policy suggestions on solving the housing problem of migrant workers from the perspective of household registration discrimination.
