Abstract: Abstract The characteristic town is a major innovation initiative under the new urbanization of China, and the intangible cultural heritage town has built its own urbanization construction and development with intangible cultural heritage resources as an important part of the featured town. Based on the theory of Porter diamond model and analytic hierarchy process, this paper constructs an evaluation index system for the competitiveness of the intangible cultural heritage town. The competitiveness of intangible cultural heritage towns is measured in terms of production factors, demand conditions, related and supporting industries, corporate competition, and government behavior. It provides some reference for the government’s evaluation and selection of intangible cultural heritage towns.
