Chapter Chapter 8 in Statistical Signal Processing, 2020, pp 163-177 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In the last few chapters, we have discussed different aspects of the one-dimensional (1-D) sinusoidal frequency model. In this chapter, our aim is to introduce two dimensional (2-D) and three dimensional (3-D) frequency models, and discuss several issues related to them. The 2-D and 3-D sinusoidal frequency models are natural generalizations of the 1-D sinusoidal frequency model, and these models have various applications in Multidimensional Signal Processing. We provide several estimators of the unknown parameters of these models, and discuss their theoretical properties.
