Analytics Approach to the Improvement of the Management of Hospitals

Abstract: Abstract Three topics of the management of hospitals are introduced. They are the waiting time problem, the operating room scheduling, and the resident scheduling problem. These problems are the problems the hospital management are facing and we apply Analytics to solve them. As the result, the management of hospitals were improved or expected to be improved. We show the outline of the Analytic approach, such as mathematical formulation and the interface of the system we implemented.
