Chapter 4 in Transforming Organizations in Disruptive Environments, 2022, pp 53-68 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter extends discussion on values to organizational and business values. Values are important because organizations and businesses, whose values are aligned to customer values, tend to be more successful. This chapter describes the importance of alignment and how good alignment creates value. It then defines how value alignment is achieved by services that deliver what the organization and its businesses and stakeholders want. This chapter then describes how businesses operating in cities or other communities must work together to create an environment that creates value for both.
