Chapter 5 in Transforming Organizations in Disruptive Environments, 2022, pp 69-84 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The earlier chapters stressed that good transformations must deliver value to people, businesses, and the environment. Designers must develop knowledge about the complicated relationships. This chapter emphasizes the importance of knowledge. It is not only knowledge about what is happening now, but also knowledge of best ways to identify what is needed to improve systems and how to do it. It sees knowledge creation as continuous learning through identifying needs, suggesting solutions, and evaluating outcomes.
