Chapter Chapter 7 in Private Equity Financing in Infrastructure and Real Estate, 2023, pp 113-141 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This chapter examines the syndication of PE investments in the infrastructure sector. Syndication of investments has been recognized as a non-monetary tool used by PE investors to mitigate uncertainty and information asymmetry in difficult environments. The process of syndication has been well researched in academic literature. Most available studies, while acknowledging the international aspects of syndication, base their inquiry in developed countries; few studies synthesize the overall findings of research to support investment decisions at a sector level.
