Abstract: Abstract Technological innovation in the aviation industry has emerged as a tool for customer loyalty and satisfaction. Right from the introduction of advanced jet engines in airplanes for commercial use to the usage of blockchain and augmented reality; from facial recognition technology to 3D screener during security check; from customer-friendly airport designs to fuel efficiency for an airliner, the global aviation industry is adopting innovative technology to revolutionize aviation into a safe and systematic mode of travel. Today, innovative technology is considered as the cost cutting strategy of the aviation industry by maximizing utilization of resources and minimizing human touch through digital interfaces. The primary aim of usage of technology is to reduce the possible air hazards. Technology also plays a key role in strategizing revenue maximization, reduction of operational costs, as well as reaching out to a larger market. Over the last 15 years, Asia has showcased the potential to be a hub for growth for the aviation industry, and China, Japan, India, and Indonesia have emerged as the leaders in this sector. Airports in Asia are seen utilizing technology to the extent of zero human interaction in the initial phases of checking in, usage of robotics, smart gate systems, etc. Asia has seen a substantial growth in the aviation industry and will continue to grow for more than a decade; and technology plays a major role in it. The chapter focuses on the usage of innovative technologies which encompasses airports, airlines, aircraft, and passengers, to make air travel easy, comfortable, smart, and safe.
