Chapter Chapter 7 in Patent Analytics, 2021, pp 83-96 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This chapter starts with an anecdote of a patent attorney coping with an increasing amount of patent data and reimagining legal service provisions with the emergence of data analytics and visualization tools. This chapter serves to inspire the disentanglement of the complex nature of patent data armed with greater flexibility in data visualization techniques from basic charts to elaborate network visualization.
