Chapter Chapter 4 in The Road Towards DemocraCity, 2021, pp 91-118 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter analyses the Transition Initiatives, framed as an example of a fragile path towards Democracity, highlighting not only the seriousness and legitimacy of this new paradigm, but also demonstrating the feasibility of implementation of the concept and as a way of thinking. This chapter seeks to understand how resilience has affected human communities and the role of resilience in creating better opportunities for realities living in hostile environments or difficult circumstances.
