Abstract Here I present my reservations, not an instruction, about some basic concepts in economic theory: rationality and equilibrium, ordinalism and the revealed preference approach, efficiency and fairness, perfect competition and imperfect competition, complete market and incomplete market, complete information and incomplete information, and general equilibrium analysis and partial equilibrium analysis.
