A Study on Benefit Distribution of Multi-agent Urban Residential Land Supply Based on Game Theory

Abstract: Abstract Since the economic reform and opening up, the urbanization of China has been continuously advanced. Housing shortage has become one of the key problems for the sustainable development of megacities. The Chinese government has adopted the strategy of “multi-agent land supply” to expand land supply. Facing the government’s promotion and market demands, the benefits acquired during the land supply drive many stakeholders to implement pilot policies. Under the above background, this paper intends to construct the relationship network from the perspective of benefit distribution, analyze the benefit distribution among various agents and compare the difference between the urban land reserve mode and multi-agent land supply mode based on the game theory. The result showed that promoting the multi-agent land supply mode was more likely to achieve the Nash equilibrium and benefit distribution was more balanced along with the promotion of the policy.
