Chapter Chapter 10 in Informal Workers and Organized Action, 2022, pp 143-153 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Past two decades have witnessed a surge in expressions of informal workers’ agency. This is a shared phenomenon, especially in the Global South which has been the loci of precarious work. This book has revisited this phenomenon in seven developing countries, while also providing fresh insights by identifying the micro-level determinants of informal workers’ participation in organized agency and its impact on some of the decent work outcomes.
