Chapter Chapter 2 in The Austro-Libertarian Point of View, 2021, pp 33-59 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In this chapter we analyze neoclassical concepts such as utility maximization and indifference, in order to identify their difficulties in explaining consumer choice. Thus, we study the process of human action itself, and the problems of indifference analysis. We provide a critique of the neoclassical view of consumer choice and contrast it with the Austrian approach.
