Chapter Chapter 6 in Spillover and Feedback Effects in Low Carbon Development, 2021, pp 197-235 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract China has a vast territory with dozens of administrative divisions. These regions bear uneven economic development levels and at the same time, they have developed close trade relations with each other. Interregional trade has important impact on the economic development and ecological environment of regions. What pattern does the interregional trade in China follow and how does it affect the green development of the Chinese economy? This chapter attempts to explore China’s interregional trade pattern from the perspective of carbon emissions, thus providing some valuable conclusions and policy implications for China’s regional coordinated development and green economic development.
