Abstract: Abstract Because the pursuit of equity is an important theme, social security is a field in which law and economics have a high affinity. Based on the principles of Article 25 of the Constitution of Japan on the provisions of the right to life, the legal approach to social security considers the way that the system should be set up so that it is accurate and fair, or just, even if the implementation of fairness is imperfect, and it still conforms to the other constitutional provisions.
