Abstract:
Abstract Supply chain operations and finance show a major development trend of intelligence enabled by modern information and communication technology (ICT). Based on this background, this chapter starts with the definition of supply chain intelligence and its key elements, which is followed by an exploration of the enabling role of modern ICT in supply chain finance operations, including a deconstruction of the definition of intelligent supply chain finance, an analysis of the functional positioning and enabling goals of convergent ICT, and an elaboration of the challenges and expected effects of intelligent supply chain finance construction. At last, this chapter analyzes the enabling mechanism of modern ICT with specific cases.
