Abstract:
Abstract Banks are acclaimed as a dominant contributor in promoting inclusive growth and reducing the vulnerability of the poor and excluded. This book deals with financial inclusion and role of the banking system. This chapter of the book deals with summary and conclusions derived from findings of the study. Financial inclusion has set priority in global agenda and concern for policymakers and regulators of many countries for sustainable long-term economic growth. In this chapter, an attempt is also made to put forward recommendations for effective financial inclusion. The recommendations provided in this book along with financial inclusion initiatives around the globe are marked important for policymakers to frame suitable policies and programs to accelerate the pace of financial inclusion and to constitute a win-win situation. This book would help regulators and other financial intermediaries to redesign financial strategic framework for achieving a long-lasting purpose of any financial inclusion drive, that is, proposing an inclusive growth.
