Abstract: Abstract The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and South-South Cooperation (SSC) mirror each other in the current international environment and development cooperation system. On the one hand, China’s foreign policies are deeply shaped by the Third Worldthe Third World’s historical experience of being invaded and dominated by western powers, which can still be observed today in China’s relations with countries in the Global South.
