Chapter Chapter 5 in The Belt and Road Initiative in South–South Cooperation, 2021, pp 205-231 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Elaborating on the strong correlations between China’s foreign strategies and China’s agenda in south-south cooperation is one of the goals of this book. The authors believe that such special correlation is deeply shaped by China’s history. The conflicts between China and the West are deeply rooted in China’s modern history and intensified when the Cold War began, immediately after the establishment of the PRC.
