Abstract: Abstract This chapter will focus on the experience of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) concerning the policy mix. The chapter discusses the impact of the global financial crisis on the international financial markets, the challenges faced and the need for a policy mix, including how the authorities in Turkey handled the trade-offs, the measures taken and the results.
