Chapter Chapter 9 in An Artificial Wicksell—Keynes Macroeconomy, 2021, pp 131-139 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter addresses two other essential stabilizing factors of the model not covered in the preceding chapters: the number of firms (Sect. 9.1) and the length of gestation period for investment (Sect. 9.2). Neither of them has been paid much attention in the economics literature as a macroeconomic stabilizer. This chapter aims to highlight the role of these factors in coordinating the aggregate demand dynamics.
