Abstract:
Abstract In this chapter, we explore neuroanatomy and some of the communication centers in the brain, including Broca’s and Wernicke’s areas. We consider the concepts of prosodyProsody and aprosodiaAprosodia. We introduce the term occupational aprosodiaOccupational aprosodia to describe how electronic mediums tend to strip communications of their emotional context. Lastly, we consider the interplay of the brain and social mediaSocial media.
