Chapter Chapter 1 in Oceania Entrepreneurship, 2022, pp 1-11 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The purpose of this chapter is to review the existing literature on Oceania entrepreneurship by identifying major trends. This enables key issues to be highlighted that relate to the trajectory of research on this field. The findings suggest that research on Oceania and entrepreneurship is in existence but tends to focus more on country-level phenomenon. Therefore, unlike European, African or Asian entrepreneurship, the term ‘Oceania entrepreneurship’ is not commonly utilised in research or practice. This results in a gap in the entrepreneurship research field that can be filled by more researchers utilising the term Oceania entrepreneurship.
