Chapter Chapter 8 in Large-Scale Group Decision-Making, 2022, pp 155-164 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Individual opinions in group decision-making under the large-group social network environment tend to be controversial and conflicting. Implementing a consensus-reaching process (CRP) is deemed necessary, but some decision-makers are non-cooperative with regard to adjusting their opinions to promote consensus due to the differences in self-interest and perception. This may delay consensus convergence and consequently affect decision quality. This chapter proposes a two-dimensional consensus model considering non-cooperative behaviors. The model explores the effects of trust loss on the management of non-cooperative behaviors and the CRP.
