Abstract The economic structure of China is under stress from domestic growth moderation, international trade dispute and widening wealth gap. Economic structure is the foundation of national social structure and social structure can reciprocally modulate the economic structure for its benefit. A decision for real change to a large and complex economic structure is inevitably both social and economical.
