Chapter Chapter 6 in Complex Network-Based Global Value Chain Accounting System, 2022, pp 141-159 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In this chapter, we measure the globalization degree of industrial sectors on the GVC. The propagation of intermediate goods on the GVC is regarded as Markov process as in previous chapters and Global Demand Dependence Index (GDDI) based on Counting First Passage Betweenness is introduced to quantify the added processing amount when the globally final demand stimulates this production system. Then, the features of globalization on both national level and sectoral level are analysed [1].
