Chapter Chapter 2 in Public Acceptability of Congestion Charging in China, 2022, pp 15-65 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Three bodies of literature were reviewed to formulate a rationale for this study and to explore the issue of public acceptability in general. Section 2.1 presents a systematic review of literature on the public acceptability of transport policies in the Western context. Section 2.2 introduces relevant studies in the Chinese context. Section 2.3 takes a wider look at the Chinese context to explore other context-specific determinants of public acceptability in China.
