A chapter in Innovation in ASEAN, 2022, pp 1-8 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract ASEAN countries need to utilise innovative marketing and management techniques in order to remain competitive. To do this requires a consideration of the different types of innovation from product, process to service in order to encapsulate new business practices. The aim of this chapter is to discuss the role innovation plays in the success of ASEAN as a regional trading bloc. To do this, it emphasises collaboration but also competition amongst ASEAN countries in terms of their innovative capabilities. This enables more focus to be applied to the way innovation produces positive changes in the economic and business environment.
