Chapter Chapter 6 in Principles and Practice of Islamic Leadership, 2022, pp 91-107 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This section presents the overall understanding we gain from reading Islamic leadership literature. Based on the work of Noor (2002), Badawi and Beekun (1998), and Hisham Al-Talib (?), this book identified several baseline traits of Islamic leaders. As pointed out previously, the characteristics and traits of leadership identified in the Islamic leadership characteristics do not represent the whole idea of leadership in Islam; rather, they are considered a sufficient starting point to provide this writing with a framework to further understand leadership.
