Abstract: Abstract In the late 1990s, China’s TMT and manufacturing enterprises, represented by Huawei, Lenovo and Sany Heavy Industry, summed up many experiences and lessons through their repeated defeats and hard-won breakthroughs overseas. Now under the Belt and Road Initiative, Chinese enterprises see a new wave of internationalization with the emergence of new modes for internationalization, among which, cross-border M&A has served as a shortcut for rapid development and internationalization of enterprises.
