Abstract:
Abstract Vietnam is one of the countries in the ASEAN area which in recent years has been characterized by dynamic economic growth, particularly thanks to a flow of exports to the EU, USA and China. The economic growth has mostly involved SMEs engaged in the manufacturing sector and the production of low-cost goods. The environmental impact caused has attracted the attention of various scholars who have expressed their views on issues related to green innovation, which is linked to cultural entrepreneurship for social and behavioral reasons. In this study we analyze from a bibliometric point of view the main topics that constitute the structural and cognitive model of the research domain concerning green entrepreneurship implemented by SMEs in ASEAN countries. Next, the focus is on Vietnam and the studies that characterize this topic in this specific country. It follows that studies in this country on green topics are united by the interest of stakeholders, R&D investments and strategies pursued by SMEs. Finally, we offer insights for future research and food for thought for policy makers and managers of SMEs engaged in green processes.
