Abstract: Abstract This volume is an energy-tailored sequel to the research on the ArcticArctic carried out at Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO University). Specifically, the book is grounded in the profound academic and practical expertise of the specialized body of MGIMO University—International Institute of Energy Policy and Diplomacy. Thus, the research exclusively focuses on energy-related aspects of exploration of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation. This particular region with its ample oil and gas resources has been thoroughly and comparatively studied by a group of authors, including scholars, engineers and practitioners, both from Russia and abroad. This chapter provides a general overview of the book stressing its key findings broken down to particular contributions.
