Abstract:
Abstract The chapter examines the legal aspects related to the functioning of social media platforms, taking into account both positive and negative aspects of using them (offences, copyright infringements, fraud, etc.). The study formulates the definition of social media, considers the status of a social media user, reviews the regulatory legal acts regulating relations in the field, and discloses the characteristics of ways to protect violated rights on the Internet.
