Abstract:
Abstract Ethnic and racial minorities are underrepresented in business ownership across the world. This chapter focuses on racial and ethnic disadvantage and discrimination in rates of entrepreneurship and self-employment, and entrepreneurial success. It discusses the literature on the sources of gaps and ways to potentially bridge the racial and ethnic gaps in self-employment and entrepreneurial performance.
