Abstract CanadaCanada possesses a great amount of natural resources and is considered one of the world’s largest oilOil and natural gas producing and exporting nations. CanadaCanada was ranked the fifth-largest energy producer in the world in 2000, behind the U.S., Russia, ChinaChina, and Saudi ArabiaSaudi Arabia. Over the past two decades, Canada has become a significant net energy exporter. CanadaCanada is a net exporter of oilOil, natural gas, coalCoal, uraniumUranium, and hydropowerHydropower.
