Abstract: Abstract In this chapter, the key concepts in this research are illustrated. Before an analytical model is constructed, a broad review of what have been going on with regard to business discourse, organizational discourse, evaluative studies in discourse analysis, CSR and CSR reports, corporate image construction, the economic effects of CSR reports and discursive construction of corporate image in the field of linguistics, management and economics will be conducted in this chapter. Additionally, the limitations of previous studies are pointed out.
