Chapter Chapter 6 in CSR Image Discursive Construction of Banks and the Effects on Capital Markets, 2022, pp 123-179 from Springer
Abstract:
This chapter will answer the second research question: How do Chinese and American banks construct their CSR images via the multi-dimensional discursive features in CSR reports and what are the differences between their discursively constructed images? To answer the second research question, Chinese and American banks’ different discursive construction of CSR images based on the multi-dimensional discourse evaluation framework will be interpreted and compared under the inter-disciplinary approach of linguistics and management. Additionally, reasons for their different CSR images will be explained.
