Abstract:
Abstract This book focuses on the design of distributed cooperative MPC of NCSs to achieve the trade-off between global performance and computational/communicational consumption. In this chapter, the properties of NCSs are sketched, the basic idea of MPC and DMPC are briefly introduced, and an overview of the literature on DMPC for NCSs as well as the event-triggered/self-triggered MPC for NCSs are presented.
