Abstract:
Abstract Devastating impact on COVID-19's pandemic on aviation industry affecting millions of aviation players and users around the world. This unprecedented crisis has led to billion dollars’ losses and expenses to the stakeholders in the industry. This pandemic has been thoroughly documented in recent scientific literature, with various studies analyzing various aspects of the changes triggered by COVID-19. Several studies have reported that COVID-19 has a positive long-term effects in air travel industry. In recent years, there are numerous technology has been implemented in the industry in order to remain competitive during these pandemic outbreaks. This paper provides an assessment that outlines the effects of the pandemic, technology application among aviation players in post COVID-19 era and recovery strategy among aviation players to encounter these issues. Despite many practices, recommendations, and suggestions arising during previous outbreaks, only a small number have been applied to air travel in civil aviation practices and operations. In this paper, several initiatives and multiple approached introduced by the aviation players during these pandemic are discussed and highlighted.
