Abstract:
Abstract The pandemic disrupted all activities, making it necessary to understand and rethink the complexity of economic resilience to better deal with future shocks. A component that should signal the resilience’s potential of a socioeconomic system can be represented by the health response by using technology input to make the services provided more efficient. Thus, the paper aims to analyse the relationship between resilience and health innovation and whether resilience is significantly influenced by innovations in the health domain. To this end, a sample of 19 European countries was selected for 2021 using regression and cluster analysis. The results highlighted that at the European level, health innovation is significantly correlated with resilience; resilience is explained by health innovation variation.
