Abstract:
Abstract The introduction of digital technologies, state-of-the-art smart devices, and disruptive procedures have obviously enhanced the operational performance outcomes of hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities and, in the long run, guarantee competitiveness. In shedding more light on these prospects, this chapter discusses the contemporary issues of healthcare innovation and digital health entrepreneurship for enhancing healthcare quality, effectiveness, sustainability, efficiency, affordability, and safety. Furthermore, the intent of healthcare innovation extends to capitulate ascendable solutions and enhancements in health policies, delivery methods, technologies, products, services, and systems. The paper also explicates how healthcare innovation helps in economic growth and efficiency. Particularly, issues related to business models, modern payment system, customer-focused heath innovation, and role of health entrepreneurs were discussed.
