Abstract: Abstract This chapter introduces the interactive relationship between technology and economic growth in China. This chapter recapitulates the meaning and essence of technological progress. In this chapter we comb the evolution of theory concerning economic growth, expound the interactive relationship between technological development and economic growth from the perspective of the theoretical model, and discuss the mechanism through which technological progress has its impact on economic growth. We analyze the specific channels through which technological progress may potentially promote economic growth. In addition, in this chapter we also discuss the status quo and general trend of China's technology-supported development and sum up some problems in the development process.
