Chapter Chapter 10 in Digital Entertainment as Next Evolution in Service Sector, 2023, pp 147-162 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The rise of digital engineering has become integral to global ER&D spending. It has contributed over 23% to the total expenditure on international digital engineering projects. In manufacturing, it is known as Industry 4.0, transforming physical and cyber systems to improve their visibility, control, and autonomy. The COVID-19 crisis has also prompted many enterprises to step up their efforts to improve manufacturing resilience. As organizations shift their focus from traditional spending to a more strategic approach to driving competitiveness and strength, they no longer view this as discretionary spending. Instead, they are seeing it as an opportunity to transform their operations. However, they are still struggling with the complexity of implementing and managing a transformation at scale. The rise of Industry 4.0 has brought about a personal touch to the automation and efficiency of the workplace. The concept of Industry 5.0 is about improving the productivity and efficiency of people by developing new technologies that can help them work more efficiently. Here authors tried to represent the possible solutions derived from industry digitalization.
